Physical Fitness Requirement

This is a challenging, multi-day trekking expedition that requires good physical conditioning.
Travelers must be prepared for:

  • Daily hikes ranging from 6 to 10 hours, depending on route conditions
  • Steep ascents and descents
  • Uneven trails with rocks, mud, sand, forest sections, and slippery terrain after rain
  • Heat, humidity, and long periods in remote environments
  • Carrying their own daypack with personal items, water, snacks, and essential gear

This experience is not recommended for travelers without recent hiking experience.

Weather & Trail Conditions

  • Hikes take place even in rainy weather, as long as conditions are safe.
  • Trails may become muddy and slippery, requiring extra attention.
  • Several areas have no mobile signal and limited infrastructure.

Required Gear

Participants must bring:

  • Proper hiking footwear(no sandals or casual shoes)
  • Trekking backpack / daypack
  • Basic trekking gear, including rain protection, water bottles, personal first-aid items, etc.

This is a point-to-point journey around Ilha Grande.
Daily logistics may vary due to weather and sea conditions, especially segments involving boat crossings.
Flexibility and a good attitude toward adventure are essential.
